THE CIRCLE AREA

A.Teacher Manual
Circle is the set of all points on the field within a certain distance, called the radius (r), from a certain point, called the center. The circle is an example of simple closed curves, dividing the field into the inside and outside.


Radius (r) is a straight line that connects the centre with a circle
Diameter (d) is the largest bow string whose length is twice the radius. It shares the same area of a circle diameter
d=2r
Circumference (C) circumference of a circle is the longest arc on the circle
C=2πr


Area of circle can be calculated with the cut it up as an element of the cake and then reassembled into a rectangle whose width can be easily calculated.

If a rectangle has length (l ) and width (w) it has area A = lw
Supposing between circle area and rectangle area, leght is a half of circle circumference and width is a radius in circle.
Therefore, A = lw
A= 1/2(2πr)r
A=πr^2
1. Teacher divides students into small groups, where one group consists of 3 people. This is so that students more easily understand and discuss in groups if there are explanations that are not understood. This also avoids a large group discussion for all students to be active in groups
2. In one group there is at least (minimum) 1 PC to facilitate part of the learning process.
3. Students are required to understand and to master and apply what they have learned.

B.Students Activity
1. Students make a circle with center O and radius r
2. Students can divide the circle into several equal parts (divided in 18 equal pie)
* Students know the corner of a large circle round (3600)
*Students can divide the angle into 18 sections and determine the amount of angle is obtained from the results for (3600 : 18= 200)
3. Students set the pie - pie circle into a rectangular shape
4. Students know the circumference of a circle formula
5.Students know the area of rectangle
6.Students can find area of circle with connect the circumference circle formula and the area of rectangle
7.Student find the area of circle.

7KR ( 7 Keajaiban Rezeki )

Seminggu sudah buku ini berada ditangan saya, menarik banget bukunya, tapi anehnya kenapa saya belum menyelesaikannya >,< mungkin karena saya yang terlalu sibuk buat buang - buang dan foya - foya sama waktu ato mungkin waktu yang malah ga perduli dan mulai meninggalkan saya, (lebay, hehhe)... Alesan utama saya belum nyelesaiin baca ni buku, karena sang penulis berpesan, jangan berpindah ke bab laen kalo bab yang sedang kamu baca belum kamu lakuin, berhubung saya left brain dominan, jadi orang penurut dan ga radikal serta suka yang wajar - wajar aja, jadi saya ikutan aja, padahal jelas2 di sampul buku tertulis seri otak kanan. Itu malah yang bikin saya tambah penasaran, hehehe :P

Emang sih beberapa bulan terakhir ini saya agak sedikit lebih rajin membaca buku self - improvement, ga tau kenapa apakah terobsesi sama si Soehyun SNSD di acara reality show We Got Married,yang beneran bikin saya terkagum - kagum , sehingga dari rasa ga suka saya sama SNSD sekarang jadinya suka banget... #curcol sampe2 saya minta donlodan video n reality show mereka yang laen dari temen kakak2 dan mbak2 yang juga suka SNSD, hihihi... dan ikut2an soehyun juga baca buku pengembangan diri :D

Balik ke intinya, dari sekian banyak curcol dan kata2 saya diatas yang ngaro ngidul ga jelas ngomongin apa, satu kata yang saya sangat suka dari buku 7KR dari mas Ippho "Right" Sentosa adalah "miracle of sodaqoh". Setelah saya telaah dan saya cerna, ternyata betul bahwa salah satu rekening yang bisa meningkatkan profit dan saldo buat kebahagian dunia wal akhirat itu adalah sodaqoh lillahi ta'ala. Insya Allah deh kita bakalan kaya beneran dunia dan akhirat. Amin...

Dan kutipan laennya yang bikin saya tambah semangat lagi untuk menuju Right, dan ikutan golongan otak kanan adalah ketidakbisa penerimaan logika dan realistik dari otak kiri mengenai betapa ajaibnya bersedekah dan ibadah2 yang laen dalam islam, berhubung saya anak matematika, yang penuh instrik, teory, lemma, teorema dan logika dalam menghitung, tapi untu kali ini saya membenarkan kata - kata mas Ippho yang bilang kalau
10 -1 = 19 (manfaat sedekah)
1 + 1 = 27 (manfaat sholat berjamaah)
1 * 6 = 355 (manfaat puasa syawal)
waaaw so awesome bukan, oleh karena itu let's find 7 keajaiban rezeki kita buat hidup bahagia di dunia maupun di akhirat.

With Them :D

Sumpah kemaren seneng banget, saya bersama - sama anak Gerbong dan keseluruhannya berjumlah 10 orang, have fun bareng di salah satu wahana air water fun dipalembang. Walopon lokasinya yang cukup jauh, ditambah kita yang berasal dan datangnya dari km 32 yang harus rela menempuh perjalanan plus minus 2 jam untuk sampe kelokasi tujuan. Tapi dengan semangat pemuda dan jiwa pantang menyerah semua rintangan dan tantanganpun kita jabanin, mulai dari bolos dan mangkir kuliah (yang merasa yaa... hehhe ^^V ) sampe2 nitip buatin tugas sama temen (solidaritas dan setiakawan yang tinggi dalam persahabatan :D ), dapat dilihatkan betapa beratnya perjuangan kami demi hang out bareng sama temen2,,, #hoalahalesan mulu >,< hahhaha... gapapa yang penting happy... :D berhubung temen saya udah posting duluan kronologi lengkapnya, dapat dibaca dimari Awiek so saya bantuin upload foto2 aja, hihihi...

With Lovely Nenek

Ga terasa ternyata diantara kita berempat udah ada yang mendapatkan secercah harapan dan jalan buat mencapai cita – citanya. Alhamdulliah dimudahkan sama yang Maha Kuasa. Yap, si nenek ternyata harus terlebih dulu ninggalin kita bertiga di kampus biru tercinta ini, demi masa depannya akhirnya nenek mutusin buat ngambil kesempatannya kuliah di STAN setelah lolos prosesi penyeleksian beberapa babak, sedih sih awalnya. Mana si nenek paling hebring (heboh, rame) lagi diantara kita berempat, ga rela rasanya buat ngelepasin nenek pergi begitu aja.Tapi setelah dipikir – pikir ntar pada akhirnya kita juga bakalan pisah setelah tamat kuliah, bener banget kata pepatah yang mengatakan dimana ada perjumpaan suatu hari bakal ada perpisahan, tapi kita ga tau pastinya kapan kita akan berpisah buat jangka waktu yang lama atau sebentarkah. Tapi ga nyangka aja kita kudu pisah sama nenek secepat ini, tapi dari lubuk hati kita bertiga kita seneng banget dan bersyukur sama Allah swt karena udah mempermudahkan dan memberikan kesempatan buat nenek dalam mencapai cita – cita dan tujuan hidupnya.
Emang siapa si nenek itu? hehehhe, sebenernya nenek itu panggilan sayang buat temen saya, cukup lama mencari kata nenek itu, sudah di revisi dann mengalami beberapa kali pergantian nama panggilan mulai dari Chacha, Hobak, Hebring, Chacong, sampe akhirnya “nenek”, yang dirasa pas dapat mewakili dan menggabarkan siapa si dia sebenarnya. Peace yaa nek ^^V
Beberapa kenangan yang bisa saya tampilin, selama hampir 2, 5 tahun bersama nenek, dari yang ada berantem2annya, sampe kita baekan lagi :D hehhehe...

Liburan

Sudah 19 hari saya libur, dirumah saja bosan tak ada kerjaaan. Makan, tidur, nonton, browsing, aktivitas yang agak membosankan...
Kebetulan kemaren tanggal 18 Januari 2011, menuntut saya untuk keluar rumah. Karena ada urusan.
Sekali tiga uang, akhirnya selesai bayar SPP semester depan saya jalan - jalan ketoko buku, buat searching aja, refreshing rencananya.... Nemu satu buku

A Dark Guardian series, The dark of the moon. Lumayan bagus sih kayak twilight gitu tapi disini bukan vampire melainkan werewolf ( manusia serigala gitu)...
2 jam saya bergelut dengannya, waah ternyata bagus juga...
Tapi ada fakta lain yang membuat saya sedikit kecewa, setelah membacanya. But It's Ok, I'll be understand that.
Ok Ntar di posting selanjutnya, saya bakalan ngeresensi ni buku...

Dapatkah kau kembali? Wahai Waktuku....

Waktu adalah penyimbang yang luar biasa. Tak perduli siapa anda, berapa uang yang anda punya, atau dimana anda hidup dimuka bumi ini, kita semua memiliki waktu 24 jam yang sama dalam sehari. Waktu anda adalah sumber yang sangat berharga. Jangan pernah sia – siakan waktu.

Pada suatu hari seorang dosen Kalkulus saya bertanya pada kami, mahasiswanya. Berapa jam dalam sehari waktu yang telah anda habiskkan dalam hidup anda untuk hal – hal yang bermanfaat ? dan berapa umur anda sekarang ? Mungkin ini hanyalah suatu pertanyaan yang simple dan bahkan sangat mudah untuk dijawab oleh seseorang. Tetapi jika pertanyaan ini benar – benar kita hayati dan kita jawab dengan jujur, maka anda akan dapat menemukan jawabannya.

Dalam hal ini saya benar – benar mencoba untuk menjawab jujur, mungkin waktu yang benar saya manfaatkan untuk hal – hal yang berguna hanya 6 jam dalam sehari ( waktu kuliah + waktu belajar ). Jika saya perhitungkan 6 jam = ¼ hari setiap hari. Dan umur saya sekarang ini adalah 19 tahun maka, ¼ * 19 tahun hanya dalam 4,75 tahun (4 tahun, 9 bulan) dalam hidup saya benar – benar saya manfaatkan untuk hal – hal yang berguna. Lalu kemana perginya 14,25 tahun (14 tahun, 3 bulan) saya? Menyesal, menyesal , dan menyesal ituulah jawaban yang keluar dalam benak saya. Apa yang dapat saya lakukan dalam kurun waktu yang begitu banyak, bayangkan kawan 14,25 tahun. Mungkin dalam waktu yang begitu banyak, saya dapat membuat perubahan yang banayak dalam diri saya untuk menjadi hamba Allah yang lebih bermanfaat, baik bagi kemaslatan orang banyak atau setidaknya untuk diri saya sendiri.

Berapa kata motivasi tentang waktu yang dapat saya berikan padamu kawan, cermatilah, hayatilah, dan tanamkanlah dalam hatimu jika ini berguna. Semoga dirimu tak sampai menyesal seperti saya atau setidaknya kamu pernah melakukan hal yang bermanfaat dalam dirimu, tak menghabiskan waktumu untuk hal – hal yang berguna.

What Is Calculus ?

A Mathematician said :

Calculus is a branch of mathematics.


 

Calculus was created in large part by Newton and Leibniz, although

some of the ideas were already used by Fermat and even Archimedes.


 

Calculus is divided into two parts, which are closely related. One

part is called "differential calculus" and the other part is called

"integral calculus".


 

Integral calculus is concerned with area and volume. How do you

determine the area of a circle or the volume of a sphere? Another way

of putting it is: how much paint do you need to color in a circle? How

much water do you need to fill up a ball? Integral calculus explains

one way of computing such things.


 

The basic idea of integral calculus is this: the simplest shape whose

area we can compute is the rectangle. The area is the length of the

rectangle multiplied by its width. For instance, a "square mile" is a

piece of land with as much area as a square plot of land with sides

measuring one mile each. To compute the area of a more complicated

region, we chop up the region into lots and lots of little rectangles.

When we do this, we will not be able to succeed completely because

there will always be pieces with curved sides, generally. But the key

idea is that the sum of the areas of the rectangular pieces will be a

very close approximation of the actual area, and the more pieces we

cut, the closer our approximation will be.


 

Differential calculus answers the following question: imagine you go

on a car ride. Suppose you know your position at all times. In other

words, at 10 a.m. you're in the garage, at 10 a.m. and 5 seconds

you're just outside the garage, at 10 a.m. and 10 seconds you're on

the road just in front of your house...and so on... At the end of

your trip, you realize that at every moment during your trip, your

speedometer showed the speed of your car. Just from the knowledge of

your position at all times, can you reconstruct what your speedometer

showed at any time? The answer is, yes, you can, and differential

calculus provides a method for doing this.


 

The basic idea of differential calculus is this: the simplest

situation where you can compute what the speedometer read is when you

drove at the same speed over the entire distance. Then, you can use

the formula: speed equals distance divided by time. For instance, if

you drive 50 miles in one hour all at the same speed, then your

speedometer read 50 miles per hour the whole trip. In the situation

where you didn't drive at the same speed, the idea is to imagine your

trip as lots and lots of short trips, say, one trip involving pulling

the car out of the garage, another trip getting the car onto the road,

and so on...even trips which involve going from one lamp post to the

next. Over each of these tiny trips, your speed doesn't change much

and you can pretend that your speed didn't change at all. This puts

you in the situation where you know how to compute the speed for each

tiny trip, and gives you a good idea of what your speedometer read for

that part of the big trip. However, the assumption that the speed

didn't change over each tiny trip is generally wrong, and so you only

get an approximation to the correct answer. But the key idea is that

the smaller you make the tiny trips used in your computation, the more

accurate you will be able to compute the actual speedometer reading.

Likes Laskar Pelangi, 2010



Well, today is very nice day for us - Soul Matika (Kak Ina, aMa, Maul, n Cha2) - especially for me. This is the first day I taught really student in Elementary School Number 20 Indralaya, Ogan Ilir. Actually I'm so nervous when I spoke in front of students, I had so many words to say, but I didn't know suddenly those word missed from my head, and I'm so blank so I just said little word , Yes. I felt I'm not in good performance, but I felt enough satisfied with it. I dan Cha2 taught the sixth grade, Kak Ina in fifth grade and Maul in the fourth grade.

I gonna told you about situation on sixth grade. In that class there are 6 students, there are Wahyu, Roby, Sam, Mu al, Indah and Yesi. Yups just 6 student, 2 girls and 4 boys. All of boys sat in first row and the girls sat in second row. Altough the sum of them not same with the others government school and they didn't use uniform likes in general school but I think they are so jenius and smart, especially in math.They so like math, today they learned about statistic, serve of data. They can explain the contents on table in words, and opposite they can make a table from data that we gave to them. They so enthusiasm to answer that questions. I'm so happy looked that.

When I asked each of them "What's you wanna be?" and told the reason in front of class, and this is they said :

1.Wahyu said : I wanna be a police and army. I will make my parents proud of me,

and I will miss terrorist in Indonesia.

2.Roby said : I wanna be Police, catch the terrorist and destroy all of form terroristm

and make peace in world.

3.Sam said : I wanna be singer, vocalist like Charlie ST 12. Because he's my idol.

4.Mu al said : I wanna be Police, to catch criminals and thieves.

5.Indah said : I wanna be Teacher (with small voice), didn't tell the reason.

6.Yesi said : I wanna be Teacher, didn't tell the reason too.

Anything and every profession what's you wanna be,I prayed for you. Hope your dream come true. Amin...

    I have a dream too, to do the best for myself. One of them I must be able to teach my students well. Hope my dream come true, and our dream come true.

    Ama be spirit !!! your journey is not complete, so long way and distance you wanna do. So always do the best, in the end you will get the best experience to you write and you tell to child and grandchild. And you will know the power of dreams. Amin Amin Amin ya Rabb..
